A lot of people rant about ways to increase Alexa rankings. One of these ways was to use a sneaky Alexa redirect (http://redirect.Alexa.com/redirect?example.com), which actually doesn’t work. Another one pointed to Alexa widget – which is also a total BS. Yet another would refer to a script – another misconception.

It’s sad that people try and fake Alexa ratings. Alexa has always received a bad rep for being prone to manipulation but it offers a great service that no one else does.
